1st Day of play-school

Today is his 1st day attending his pre-school for a 3 days trial period. Alhamdulillah all went well. Showed him the playground of the school and he immediately followed the teacher without screaming or making any fuss. Just a confused face and he went in with the teacher. After 2 hours we went back to the school to pick him up and he seems enjoying himself. What a relieved!! Teachers said he cried only for a few minutes after Umi's left him and later played with another kid in the school. Hestarted to cry again when he saw Umi came to fetch him. Will send him again tomorrow to get himself familiarised with the environment before we enrol him.

Influenza A

Ikram just recovered from Influenza A like sympthom. He had his fever since we came back from Eidul Adha and its getting worst since 29 Nov. So for the past one week his tempt kept on increasing especially at nite, reaching up to 39-40'c. Went to the private hospital on wednesday (1 Dec) and had a blood test on him. Dr. confirmed he had that sympthom but neither hospitalised nor quarantine needeed. But to be cautious, Umi had us home quarantined until the 48 hrs stage passed. So for the past one week no milk or anything goes to his stomach. He has no appetite at all.Umi had to forced him to have warm water and ribena. Alhamdulillah by friday he shows sign of recovery though slowly. By Saturday he asked for his 1st milk ever in the week. Umi jumped to her feet so eagerly to make his milk. Not much of a drink but it was a good start. On Monday , another follow up and Daddy took him to see the Doctor and Alhamdulillah Dr confirmed that he had fully recovered. Syukran.

The busy Ikram

Umi was busy in the kitchen cooking, while dady busy storing, re-packing, tidying all the mess in the store room. While Ikram?hmmm so silent..so good...dont bother to disturb Umi at all. Funny and smell something fishy. Yup that's right..he must be up to something. Then suddenly he appeared slowly behind Umi who's busy cooking for lunch. His face was covered with white powder and no sign of Ikram's face at all. Oh my God...body/face baby powder was all over his face and the entire body. Went to the living room with him and saw what he's up to. A bottle of Anakku powder (big size) has emptied and the powder was all over his writing table, bouncing poney and on the floor. Umi was so shocked and speechless and he just smile grinning showing his white tooth. Umi told Daddy to look at his son and he was speechless too. Good lesson though....never leave him alone unattended. We were lucky it's just a baby powder and not other dangerous or harmful things he played.

Playground

He was at home all day watching his favourite cd non other than all time fav...Upin & Ipin. What am I going to do with him? At 6pm Umi brought him over to the nearby playground...walking instead of driving.. yeah he was so happy though...to be out of the house and to be able to play the swing, see-saw etc. He laughed and laughed when the swing moves. Just for only half an hour we spent there cos its about to rain. We ran back home and he seems so happy to had the hour spent outside of the house. Bathed and continued with his Upin & Ipin and dozzz off while watching it. Tired..too tired.

Birthday Party

Today we had his early birthday party. Almost 30 kids came to join the celebration.It was just a small celebration at Kak Nah's house (his nanny). Ikram will be 2 years old tommorow. We had a great party though. As usual lots of collection collected(felt a bit guilty to collect though) with few birthday gifts. Of all he got Upin and Ipin's pair of shirt which he love most. A set of mini cars and robot.Cik Jan gave him BMW toy bike and Daddy promised to buy him a real bike which he had test ride few times. Will upload the photos soon.

High fever

Ikram is not feeling well since Sunday evening,yet he's still active, hoping, jumping and very noisy plus talkative irrespective day and nite. But today...he is so passive. Last nite, the whole nite he wasnt sleeping at all. Unable to sleep i guess due to the body heat . His temp was so high. He wanted to be hold and hugged and poor umi, cant stand with his body heat. Whole nite was just to wet and damped him with wet towel plus cool patch. Went to see the Paeditrician this morning. He was infected (maybe from his last flu- a week a go) and having tonsils and only few mins ago managed to get a nap.My poor active Ikram is lying weak. Dr. weighted him, and only increased a half kg from last visit-July. 13 kgs only.His birthday is just around the corner. Get well soon my dear. Umi love you.

One year and 8 months. He already had mouthfuls of vocab which only few understood by Ummi such as ket for sikit (a bit),kekam (Ikram),yeyi (daddy), Ami (Umi),neyek (nenek), Uki (Toki), kosk (socks),kush (shoes),ayem (ice cream), aye (water), bena (Ribena),mamam (eat),cat (cat), akut (scared),popoh (pooh),akit (sakit/in pain) and few more.
