Solat

Performing solat during the recent tahlil .If it not because of his cousin (Daus),he should had stay put performing the solat. Daus had makes him exchanging the sejadah in the midst of performing the solat and grab hold of Ikram's hand to play chase and run game.

Big Boy

At 2 yrs and 8 months old Ikram is wearing no more diapers except at nite, sleeping time. Its been 2 weeks already that he went to school or anywhere without his diapers and he is used to it now. No more pee or poo accidently. He will go straight to the toilet or let Umi or his Mama knows when the time comes for him to pee or poo.

And today its the first time he is wearing underwear.He's been longing to have one for the last few weeks.He wants something same like his daddy's.

My baby is a big boy now. LOL
And today he is having hi fever that makes Umi took a day leave from work. He's been having it for a week now together with flu and cough but as usual without antibiotic and merely on med the virus wont go away and Dr said he had infection already. Adoii yaa...

last nite was worst... after took the antibiotic he seems slowly recovering. Alhamdulillah.

Riding to School

With the new hand phone, it is easy for Umi to upload Ikram's photo. The previous hp's cable was misplaced and that's why no photos were uploaded since.

This was taken this morning. He loves to ride on motor bike.Hahahah..so no more with Umi.

Mother's Day

Last Saturday the 7th, Ikram came back from school (an advanced replacement school for Deepavali) with Daddy and calling for Umi from the gate. Umi was busy in the kitchen. As long as Umi didnt react or answer to his call he will keep calling for Umi. In his hand Umi saw, a heart shape paper cut with handle (made from a bamboo stick). Holding it high he said, Umi umi...ibu...I love you... trying hard to sing the "ibu" song and all of sudden Umi has turned to Ibu for the day. It touched my heart to hear him saying it out for mother's day. This must has been taught in his school. Kids nowadays not like us years ago. However, Umi is not the kind of celebrating Mother's day. To Umi ,Mothers day is everyday and the special day will be on mother's birthday and that will be next Tuesday and Umi is planning something special for Nenek. Its nenek's birthday.

Serba serbi

While we were in the car, Ikram, nenek and Umi at the backseat of the car and Daddy's driving. Ikram took a fight with nenek. Haahahaha..dah pandai nak bergaduh. Tetiba dia cakap "nenek jangan ikut Ikram, nenek tinggal!", gaya budak-budak besar mencari pasal untuk bergaduh. Semua percakapan sekarang pun dah ala-ala budak besar walaupun masih pelat. Bukan nak menyalahkan sesiapa tetapi it's all peers influenced. Berkawan dengan Pikah montel macam2 kepandaian percakapan dia which kebanyakannya negative. That's one of the reason why Umi sent him to attend junior/kindy school to minimese time spent with Pikah at Kak Nah's house.

Juga sudah pandai menjelirkan lidah untuk mengejek.Tak berapa suka begini, nanti akan menimbulkan suasana tidak baik di sekolah nanti. Ikram as usual is a dominan type of person. While with Daus, he always tends to grab all toys belongs to Daus or whatever Daus is holding he will grab it. Being Daus, a fatty slow motion boy who is 10 months older and almost 10kgs bigger that Ikram, will stand still with sad eyes looking at Ikram not knowing what to do. No self defence at all but a proud grandson of Tokwan and all the aunties due to his chubbiness and very fair coloured skin. No one would resists, but being a mum, Umi is very proud of Ikram with his talent (not the greedy or the bulliness attituted) and confident as well as brightness. Hope Ikram will grow as a good man with good attitude and manners. Cemerlang, Gemilang and Terbilang in all aspects of life and life after.InsyaAllah amin

Again

My sweetheart Ikram is having hi-fever again. Makes my heart beats so fast. His temp as high as 39'c (at 3.30am). No appetite to drink and eat. He's so allergic to praises I guess. . Whenever he puts up weight or went into chubbiness zone and people tend to praise and talks about how chubby he was then zessssss....next few days surely he'll fall sick and shortly after, reduced his weight. My poor Ikram. (Old folks said never to say anything to children when he/she is healthy or gaining weight in progress- is it true?). Entah laa or hanya kebetulan.

He's so easily caught by flu and followed by bad cough if we doesnt tend to his flu immediately and soon after fever will come in place. (Ni semua sebab Umi la...he took from Umi ...Umi senang dapat selsema and berjangkit kat Ikram la ni). However this time there's no coughing sympthom but hi-fever took place. At first, his fever is a so-so and and on and off yet he's still active. But during nite time, his temp will increased. Hopefully by tomorrow he'll get well soon. Doctor said there's no sign of anything to worried about but watching him laying weak makes my heart sick. Get well soon my dear, Ummi loves u so much.

Entertainer & waiter

At 2 + yrs. A not even 2.5 yrs, Ikram is such an entertainer. Everyday he will sing all sorts of kindy and children songs. Though some words were not pronounced properly but he couldnt careless. All he does was sing and sing till he sleep.

To much of a surprise, he can even bring you a cup of water. Ever since we have water dispenser, he loves to have his own water. Carrying his chair as a stepping stool, he will climb on it and rach for the water from the water dispenser. One day, umi had asked him a cup of water to be brought to the living room and Ikram managed to brought it without any spill over and ofcourse the cup was only half filled.

So just in case Umi fall sick, guess he would be able to nurse and tend to Umi. What a son. Umi have been blessed with such an adorable son. Alhamdulillah.

Hungry

Today at 6.15am he woke up.So early. He said, "Umi, ikram hungry, Ikram wants to eat porridge." As Umi just had her solat and eyes were not that sleepy to go back to sleep, immediately woke up from bed and headed to the kitchen and Ikram followed suits. The only thing that came up in Umi's mind, what's best and fast to cook was egg..hahahah half boiled egg to feed Ikram's empty stomach early in the morning.

Well that's actually Ikram's menu whenever he's hungry and Umi need to cook it fast and unprepared. Lately every evening when Umi wasnt cook anything, the egg was the solution for his empty stomach.Healthy and fast as well. Sometimes he had it 3 eggs at one go. Over the week end he will be served his porridge as this is the only menu he can consumed in a full bowl. Rice?hmmm not that much. He gained his weight quite a lot and naughty as well.

Week end was a hectic day for Umi. If left us alone he will be scolded quite a lot so as for the solution he needed to be brought outside the house, just get out of the 'shell', either sightseiing, shopping or to nenek house just to avoid him been scolded too much which is not good as he will become more stubborn day after day and also knows how to talk back when scolded.

Everyday, once reached home, as usual first thing he would do was to look at his book and colour pencil and started to do his 'homework' as if he has loads of homework to do. All he did was ..scrubbing, colouring , erasing etc on his book.He never had any homework. A 3 yrs kindie maa.

Also play with his toys and let the house in mess. He also likes to bother Umi so much, by making her reading his story book, climbing Umi's body, asked Umi to play with him cos there's no one else except the two of us at home. So who else to bothered with. These activities makes Umi really tired and angry esp when Umi's fav Korean Drama was on air. So to avoid Umi's getting angry is to get him out of the house. Out we go but only during the week end. Week days, Umi have to endure with it.

Ikram & His book

At home, once back from Kak Nah's house the first thing he would grab is his book and his colour pencils. Drawing and colouring as if he has lots of homework to finish. He was so fascinated with the books and pencil colours.

Another thing is to ask Umi to read him any book. That's sometimes 'iritates' Umi since its Umi's Korean Drama time huhuhu. Not much that we know about him learning in school except singing sort of ABC song. But he knew ABC a bit before enroling the school. Oh yeah he also knows how to colour the image huhuhu.Umi's checked his book given by the teacher on every Friday. He coloured the image in the book with one straight line and it must have the teacher who has guided him to do so. Anyway, its a good progress though. What do you expect from a 2yrs 3mths old boy attending play school???

Today is Ikram's 1st day of pre-school..the real one hehehe..well it's actually more to play school rather than pre-school.

And today also he was a bit lazy to wake up (guess its too early in the morning, before 7.30am) and doesnt want to take his bath on which he loves so dearly during normal day. Looking at him in his uniform makes me wanted to laugh. He is just 2 years and 2 months and now he is in school. Staying at nanny's house makes him learnt a lot of negative vocabs. He is such a good immitator and follower so we need to be extra careful with that. This play school merely to mix him around with other races and having proper education and good command in English (hope so).

1st Day of play-school

Today is his 1st day attending his pre-school for a 3 days trial period. Alhamdulillah all went well. Showed him the playground of the school and he immediately followed the teacher without screaming or making any fuss. Just a confused face and he went in with the teacher. After 2 hours we went back to the school to pick him up and he seems enjoying himself. What a relieved!! Teachers said he cried only for a few minutes after Umi's left him and later played with another kid in the school. Hestarted to cry again when he saw Umi came to fetch him. Will send him again tomorrow to get himself familiarised with the environment before we enrol him.

Influenza A

Ikram just recovered from Influenza A like sympthom. He had his fever since we came back from Eidul Adha and its getting worst since 29 Nov. So for the past one week his tempt kept on increasing especially at nite, reaching up to 39-40'c. Went to the private hospital on wednesday (1 Dec) and had a blood test on him. Dr. confirmed he had that sympthom but neither hospitalised nor quarantine needeed. But to be cautious, Umi had us home quarantined until the 48 hrs stage passed. So for the past one week no milk or anything goes to his stomach. He has no appetite at all.Umi had to forced him to have warm water and ribena. Alhamdulillah by friday he shows sign of recovery though slowly. By Saturday he asked for his 1st milk ever in the week. Umi jumped to her feet so eagerly to make his milk. Not much of a drink but it was a good start. On Monday , another follow up and Daddy took him to see the Doctor and Alhamdulillah Dr confirmed that he had fully recovered. Syukran.

The busy Ikram

Umi was busy in the kitchen cooking, while dady busy storing, re-packing, tidying all the mess in the store room. While Ikram?hmmm so silent..so good...dont bother to disturb Umi at all. Funny and smell something fishy. Yup that's right..he must be up to something. Then suddenly he appeared slowly behind Umi who's busy cooking for lunch. His face was covered with white powder and no sign of Ikram's face at all. Oh my God...body/face baby powder was all over his face and the entire body. Went to the living room with him and saw what he's up to. A bottle of Anakku powder (big size) has emptied and the powder was all over his writing table, bouncing poney and on the floor. Umi was so shocked and speechless and he just smile grinning showing his white tooth. Umi told Daddy to look at his son and he was speechless too. Good lesson though....never leave him alone unattended. We were lucky it's just a baby powder and not other dangerous or harmful things he played.

Playground

He was at home all day watching his favourite cd non other than all time fav...Upin & Ipin. What am I going to do with him? At 6pm Umi brought him over to the nearby playground...walking instead of driving.. yeah he was so happy though...to be out of the house and to be able to play the swing, see-saw etc. He laughed and laughed when the swing moves. Just for only half an hour we spent there cos its about to rain. We ran back home and he seems so happy to had the hour spent outside of the house. Bathed and continued with his Upin & Ipin and dozzz off while watching it. Tired..too tired.

Birthday Party

Today we had his early birthday party. Almost 30 kids came to join the celebration.It was just a small celebration at Kak Nah's house (his nanny). Ikram will be 2 years old tommorow. We had a great party though. As usual lots of collection collected(felt a bit guilty to collect though) with few birthday gifts. Of all he got Upin and Ipin's pair of shirt which he love most. A set of mini cars and robot.Cik Jan gave him BMW toy bike and Daddy promised to buy him a real bike which he had test ride few times. Will upload the photos soon.

High fever

Ikram is not feeling well since Sunday evening,yet he's still active, hoping, jumping and very noisy plus talkative irrespective day and nite. But today...he is so passive. Last nite, the whole nite he wasnt sleeping at all. Unable to sleep i guess due to the body heat . His temp was so high. He wanted to be hold and hugged and poor umi, cant stand with his body heat. Whole nite was just to wet and damped him with wet towel plus cool patch. Went to see the Paeditrician this morning. He was infected (maybe from his last flu- a week a go) and having tonsils and only few mins ago managed to get a nap.My poor active Ikram is lying weak. Dr. weighted him, and only increased a half kg from last visit-July. 13 kgs only.His birthday is just around the corner. Get well soon my dear. Umi love you.
